Leather Chin strap

Genuine leather Chinstrap for your fire helmet. 

Each strap measures approximately 23.5" long when fully extended and 0.75" wide, leather thickness is 6/7oz (this is thinner than most radio straps)

These are designed to replace the stock helmet strap. You will need a place on the helmet for the chin strap to loop around and attach to the helmet. The area where these would loop. Needs to  be no smaller than 3/4" wide and 5/16" tall

The Chin strap will be secured with Chicago Screws. We recommend adding Loctite to the screws when you install the chin strap. 

Each chin strap will have a quick release and postmen's slide for length adjustment. All Rivets will be solid brass. The quick release will always be black.
