Leather Chin strap

Each strap measures approximately 29" long when fully extended and 0.75" wide, leather thickness is 6/7oz (this is thinner than most radio straps)

These are designed to replace the stock helmet strap. You will need a place on the helmet for the chin strap to loop around and attach to the helmet. The area where these would loop. Needs to  be no smaller than 3/4" wide and 5/16" tall

The Chin strap will be secured with Chicago Screws. We recommend adding Loctite to the screws when you install the chin strap. 

Each chin strap will have a quick release and postmen's slide for length adjustment. All Rivets will be solid copper. The quick release will always be black. 

Pictures shown are of the old style with brass rivets. These now have copper rivets.
