Shop Update: Helmet Shield Changes Coming in January

If you have been around here for any amount of time, you already know one thing about us. We do not sit still.
As we head into January, we are starting a full rework of almost every shield on the site. This is not a redesign for the sake of redesign. This is a cleanup, consolidation, and improvements that have been a long time coming.
Why Weβre Making Changes
Over the last year, our shield lineup has grown fast. New layouts, new options, custom requests turning into permanent offerings. That growth has been good, but it has also made things a little cluttered and harder to navigate than it should be.
So we are tightening things up.
The goal is simple
- Make it easier to understand
- Make options clearer
- Make ordering smoother
- And make sure every shield page actually reflects how we offer them today
Whatβs Changing with the helmet shields
Starting in January, you will see:
- Some shield designs consolidated into one
- Clearer option breakdowns so you know exactly what you are selecting
- New options added where they make sense
- Retired layouts folded into updated versions
- Product pages rewritten to be more straightforward and accurate
This is about reducing confusion and making the whole experience cleaner from start to finish.
Pricing Adjustments
There may be minor price adjustments on some shields.
Not across the board. Not drastic. And not just for the sake of it.
As options are consolidated and builds standardized, some pricing needs to shift slightly to reflect how shields are actually produced today. In many cases, you may be getting more clarity and more options without a meaningful change at all.
If pricing moves, it will be intentional and justified.
What This Means for You
If you are planning to order soon, nothing is stopping you. Current shields will continue to be built the same way they are now during the transition.
If you are waiting until January, expect a cleaner lineup that is easier to navigate and easier to customize without second guessing yourself.
Same craftsmanship. Same standards. Just a tighter system behind it.

This update is about doing things the right way, not the easy way.
We build these shields for firefighters who care about what they wear on their lid. Our site should reflect that same level of intention and clarity.
January is when we clean house and level things up.
