01 What will you need?
To get started, you will need:
- A Shopify store on the Basic plan or higher.
- A Shopify Collective account, which is free to activate.
- Your design files if requesting a custom setup. AI or EPS files are preferred.
If your files are not in the right format, we can help get them converted.
02 What items do you offer?
Right now, this service is only offered for Richardson hats with leather patches.
- Hat style and color are limited to what we keep on hand.
- This helps keep turnaround fast.
- More items will come in the future.
03 How will shipping work?
After a sale is made on your site, the order comes to us. We make and ship the item directly to your customer.
- There will be no Little River Customs branding in the shipment other than the return address.
- If you want something like your logo sticker included, we can work out a solution. This will likely come with an additional cost.
04 What designs are available?
You will get access to most of the leather patch designs we offer. This selection is growing all the time.
We can also work with you to set up a design with your logo or a design you want to sell.
05 Can I offer different hat styles?
We offer a number of Richardson hat styles and colors. Our goal is to get each hat shipped as fast as possible, so for Shopify Collective, we limit this to hats we keep on hand.
Traditional wholesale is a better solution if you want different hat options.
06 How long does it take to ship to my customer?
Our goal is to ship the hat within 3 to 5 business days. It is not unheard of for a hat to ship the same day it is ordered.
07 How does the money work?
Shopify has made this a safe and secure system. All money is handled through Shopify.
After an order is placed, the money is held by Shopify. After we ship the item, the money is released from Shopify. Your profit is added to your next payout.
08 How much will I make?
Our standard margin is 20 percent. That means you will make around $5 to $6 per hat.
