Leatherhead Multipurpose Firefighter Hook
Product Description
The Leatherhead Hook is a multipurpose firefighter hook for overhaul, pulling, sounding, prying, utility access, and other trained fireground work. It combines a compact two-sided head with a steel shaft and a length-specific pry end.
The head is precision cut from 3/8-inch hardened steel and measures approximately 8.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches high. The pry end is formed from one-inch hardened steel, while the shaft uses one-inch structural pipe. A textured black powder-coat finish covers the tool.
Choose your Leatherhead Hook length
- 30 inch: Compact configuration with the Pry A end
- 4 foot: Mid-length configuration with the Pry B end
- 6 foot: Longest configuration with the Pry B end
The product images compare all three overall lengths and show the difference between the Pry A and Pry B end profiles. Choose the length that fits your apparatus storage, preferred reach, and operating procedures.
Multipurpose firefighter hook construction
The two-sided head provides distinct working edges for pulling and access tasks, while the opposite pry end gives firefighters another working surface. The 30-inch model is suited to compact carry and close work, while the four-foot and six-foot versions extend reach for overhaul and other hook operations.
This listing includes one Leatherhead Hook in the selected length. Tool mounts and other equipment are sold separately. Use the hook only within your training and department procedures, and inspect the head, welds, shaft, coating, and pry end before use.
