The water based acrylic formula is made to flex with properly prepared leather. It is a practical choice for makers who return to the same colors regularly and want a larger bottle than the 1 oz sizes found in paint kits. Each purchase includes one 4 oz bottle in your selected color.

Use the color selector to choose your bottle. Dark Grey and Grey are separate shades, and the red offered here is Chili Red. For a new color combination, paint a sample on matching scrap material before committing to your finished piece. Keep a note of your mixing proportions if you need to reproduce a custom shade later.

Prep and Apply in Thin Layers

Start with clean, dry leather and remove the existing factory finish using an appropriate leather preparer, following the product directions. Shake the paint well, then build coverage with thin coats rather than one heavy layer. Angelus recommends allowing 15 to 30 minutes between coats and at least 24 hours before wearing or flexing the painted item.

Surface preparation matters. Fabric, plastic, and other materials may need different preparation or Angelus additives. Check the manufacturer's directions for your specific surface before painting. Brushes, preparation products, additives, and finishers are sold separately.
