Product Description
The Council Tool TAC30 Kelly Style Halligan is a tuned and dressed 30-inch forcible-entry bar built for firefighters who need a compact, ready-to-use tool for entry and breaching work.
Designed in collaboration with forcible-entry trainers, the TAC30 arrives with thinned forks and Gap and Set reference marks already in place. It does not require the initial grinding and dressing commonly performed on an unfinished entry bar.
The tool is drop forged in one piece from 4140 alloy steel. Its working ends are heat treated for strength, toughness, and wear resistance, while the octagonal shaft provides defined gripping surfaces.

Tuned for forcible-entry work
The fork and pry ends are shaped to provide penetration, leverage, and strength during forcible-entry operations. The offset adze supplies leverage for prying and door work, while the squared shoulders and flat side create clear striking surfaces.
Unlike a traditional Halligan configuration with a pike, the Kelly-style design omits the pike so the bar can lie flat for storage and transport.
Choose between the available Standard and Matte Black finishes using the product options. The Standard version uses a lacquer finish intended to deter rust, while Council Tool identifies the Matte Black option as an alternative protective finish.
